The technical condition of the game
From the moment of the open beta testing of the BF 2042, I had a huge number of questions for the technical condition of the game. Such a number of bugs as during the test was certainly not observed, but late loading textures, errors in animations continue to catch the eye! The network code deserves special attention, I have already shown in my Review for a beta test a footage that eloquently talked about the registration of hits in the game! Then everyone laughed and said: "Well, this is a whiten! What do you want, will correct the release!". Corrected? But no!

And if bugs and a bad network code can be called an appendage to the release of almost any new game of the series, then the inability to join the official servers of the game, or errors in the course of the game, this is already too much! Game modes
The game provides three game clusters: this Global war, which contains only two game modes, Hazard Zone, which is positioned by the developers as an independent game mode, as well as the sensational Portal, which is inherently a kind of tool for creating content players themselves, using cards, modes and equipment both from the new part of the BF and some previous ones.
And in words it all sounds very attractive: We have as many as three diverse games in one, And even with a tool that gives fans the opportunity to realize their creative ideas and ideas, while creating something new and unique. But in practice, everything is much sadder.

And if the developers at least not change something in this mode, then I’m afraid he will have forgotten already in the first year of the life of the game, but it is very unfortunate, since this regime, as for me, has quite a good e-sports potential.

One of them is the capture, which was somewhat redesigned by the developers, the introduction of large zones, consisting of two or three points, which must be simultaneously captured to reduce the support points of the enemy team. But this is all the same good -good capture, it does not give anything new to the old fans of the series, and it can bother with new ones for a few dozen of the played watch.
The second mode is the next “innovation” from Dice: a breakthrough mode, which is also the processed and well -known fans of the Battlefield series Storm (Bf 4) or lovers of “penny” or “five”, where this regime has already been presented. Here we have two teams, one of them attacking, and the other defending. And only if earlier (in BF 4) it was necessary to protect the transmitters so that the attacking side would not blow them up, now two control zones came to replace these transmitters, which the attackers should be captured and at the same time hold during a short period of time. Yes, now the defending team There is an opportunity to make a certain "Cumbek", Returning himself a lost point, which only gives a certain interestingness to the game, but this is inherently the same old regime! And on this literally all! Here, at the moment, there is not a single default infantry regime, like a defmatovich or superiority! Or a regime that could become something new or unique for this part of the game. But no, Dice, apparently, in seriousness, decided to limit themselves to two slightly slightly changed, but inherently old modes, and present them as a new game experience mainly by the game cluster Battlefield 2042! And what is it called? Laziness, greed or something else? The answer to this question, unfortunately, only knows the developers of the game!
And the last game cluster, on which I personally laid great hope – this Portal. As I said earlier, the portal is a kind of tool with which a community can provide itself with content for a very, very long time. In your hands there will be cards, weapons and models from various parts of Battlefield, and you can create completely different modes in theory, including repeating those that were unfairly deprived in this part of Battlefield. But the problem is that at the moment there are very few servers with custom and interesting modes!
The following information presented is relevant for the console versions of the game. I would like to believe that the situation is better on the PC!
Basically, everything comes down to the use of old cards from Battlefield 1942 or Bad Company 2, which uses a weapon completely unsuitable for these cards. Of course, no one will balance the weapon for old cards on which weapons were used with a completely different range of defeat (of course, no one will overbound new weapons!). But this is only my nagging! I would like to say thanks to the guys who meticulously recreate various suitable game modes from the past parts of the series! But I have a more question for Dice! Why it was impossible to configure several presets to use them in setting up your server? Make a couple of completely crazy modes, on the likeness of those that were shown in the release video of the game, and the community itself would have improved these modes! But no, here you understand the tool yourself as you want. And these were all four reasons that, in my opinion, can scare away many players from the purchase of Battlefield 2042! I could still tell about some kind of wild price in the area of 5k on the old generation console and in 3k on a PC, but I think that we have been accustomed to such pricing for a long time. In general, you must understand that None of the cods given is irreparable: Content can start, correct bugs, and specialists? Well, make more playable.
